It can hold not only checkbook, but also credit cards, cash, change and much more. On the right side, it has a clear plastic window, a zippered pocket, 6 credit card slots and there is also a pocket behiend the slots.The left side is for the checkbook, which can be loaded from the top or from the side as well, with a clear plastic  flap for the check writing. The center flap is removable and can carry other checkbooks and credit cards seperately as well. 

 Very hard to find wallet. It is ONE OF ITS KIND. A REALLY GREAT BUY
