You are bidding on a genuine Yamaha 2335 Trumpet which is in great condition, serial number 5109XX. The horn plays just like a new one - I am an accomplished brass player, and this trumpet is in tip-top playing condition. The horn also has no major dents anywhere. As a matter of fact, upon very close scrutiny, only a few miniscule dings are detectable. There are minor surface scratches, as with any used instrument, but as you can see from the pictures, the trumpet looks excellent. Probably the most significant cosmetic flaw is scratching where the previous owner used a lead pipe clamp-style lyre, and scratched the finish. The case is not original; it is a Bach 300 series case in near-mint condition, and fits this Yamaha instrument perfectly. As a band director, I've always been a fan of the Bach case and in my opinion it's better than Yamaha's case. Also included is a Bach 7C mouthpiece.
This is a no-reserve auction, so this fine instrument will be a good buy for someone. The Woodwind and Brasswind, Inc., a company with about the best prices I've found, has a new 2335 priced at $924.00. This instrument will close for much less. You can see it at:

I am a high school band director and have sold many instruments on Ebay, and all but one dishonest individual have been pleased with the instruments they've received. I guarantee to ship within two business days of auction close. You may pay with Paypal, money order/cashier's check, or personal check. If you pay with Paypal E-check or personal check, we will have to wait until the check clears and the money is in my account before I will ship the horn, delaying the process. If you are not happy with the instrument when it arrives, let me know within 24 hours, ship it within 3 days, and I will refund your purchase price minus shipping. I've never had an instrument returned, but this should provide you with some peace of mind. Good luck and happy bidding!
International buyers - I ship to the U.S. and Canada only.
