If anything could go wrong, Sad Sack would ensure that it did. On this cover, the forces of nature conspired against him. Soon he would be donning the uniform and becoming the private that we all came to know and feel sorry for.
Notice the very early appearance of his dog Muttsy.

Signed by Sad Sack's creator, George Baker, at the lower left.


The stats are replacements, but the artwork is all original. This piece does have some white-out, but it is still gorgeous, measuring an overall 10.5" x 15.5"

The potential for this piece is amazing. Compared to Marvel and DC, the market level for Harvey original art is at only a tiny fraction of value, yet Sad Sack had a following that has lasted sixty years with numerous title spin-offs.

A rare and one of a kind treat!
