 Description Shipping and payments
You are bidding on a signed 3x5 card of the late George Burns (1896-1996)(rn: Nathan Birnbaum), who was an actor, and writer spanning vaudeville, radio TV and movies. He was married to actress/comedienne Gracie Allen from 1926-1964, and they had their own show which ran on CBS TV from 1950-1958, before having to quit, due to Gracie's heart problems, which eventually took her life in 1964. Burns was chosen by his best friend, Jack Benny, to appear in the 1975 movie, "Sunshine Boys", after Benny was forced to bail out due to health problems of his own. Benny died  in 1974 of pancreatic cancer. Burns would win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in "The Sunshine Boys". He also appeared in "Oh God" in 1977, "Oh God, Book Two" in 1980, and "Oh God, You Devil". In 1988, he starred in one of his last films, "18 Again", and had a hit record with the novelty tune, "I Wish I Was 18 Again".
