George IV Sterling Silver Cruet Set
Hallmarked London - Dated 1823

This beautiful cruet set consists of a sterling silver rectangular footed stand featuring a gadroon edge, a simple elegant handle, hallmarked London, dated 1823 with two cut crystal bottles with original stoppers. The bottles are clear and have a deep cross hatched pattern to midsection of both bottle and stoppers, the base and tops of stoppers are also decorated with a star burst pattern. The base holds the two bottles and has additional space to hold the stoppers when they are taken off the bottles to pour the oil or vinegar.

Measurements:
Sterling Base Measures: 6 inches long x 3 1/4 inches wide x 7 inches high.
Bottles Measures: 5 1/4 inches high (including stoppers) x 2 1/8 inches wide.

Weight: 222 grams / 7.104 troy ounces.

Marked: Maker mark W S for William Stevenson,
left facing Lion passant, Crowned lion for London, h for 1823 and Queens head duty mark

Excellent condition - No damage or repairs.
