This print is in 100% Mint Condition and has never been rolled. It is laid flat on a piece of acid-free foam board and enclosed by a protective clear plastic print sleeve.

A Bit of History Behind this Series

Rodrigue's "Saga of the Acadians" are eighteen paintings which traces the history of the Cajun people from their lives in Nova Scotia to their eventual settlement in south Louisiana. The paintings were commissioned by Lafayette residents Gerald and Betty Defez (former owners of Landry's Restaurant) and were completed between 1989 and 1993.  This series of Fine Art Limited Edition Prints presents the opportunity to possess a visual tribute to the life and struggles of the Cajun people and a way of sharing the Cajun history with others.
