This is a very interesting little pin. It was purchased in Germany and sent to me as a gift but I do not wear gold tone jewelry. The setting is gold tone and the face is a very gray/purple shade with an amazing shimmer in the light. It is some kind of plastic but is really far nicer in person. The back is stamped Ges.Gesch. and what looks like the initials AH. It is some kind of abreviate that I am told may mean Gift in german. The pin is about 1.6 inches wide. It came from an estate lot  but I am not certain of its age.
