This is a near perfect silver Giardinelli G17 mouthpiece. It has a funnel shaped cup with appoximately 14-15mm diameter rim that is more round in shape and the back bore is on the smaller side. . The funnel shape cup is said to produce a darker sound than the more bowl shape cuped mouth peices. This mouthpiece is in terrific shape. Giardinelli has had a very good reputation thoughout the years and were the rage in the 70's. That being said all mouthpieces are a matter of personal taste and comfort.
