Product Description
"A high output version of the 490T, combining the more powerful response of the Alnico 5 magnet with additional matched windings on each coil. It's perfect for hard rock applications and easily overdrives your amplifier for a beefy, sizzling output that will give your guitar new power and presence. The emphasis is on the upper midrange frequencies for lots of extra crunch and sustain.

The 498T has bridge spaced pole pieces and really cuts through for powerful leads and thick rhythm without sacrificing single note definition. Features shielded four conductor wiring for series, parallel or split coil operation and is fully wax potted to eliminate microphonic feedback.
