This is a Gibson Banjo Tone Ring, one of their "Mystery Rings" that was gold plated by Ron Satterfield of Nashville Plating in Nashville, Tennessee.

This tone ring is in great shape (new-like) with no plating damage at all.  This tone ring is stamped 267 as clearly shown in the last photo.  I played it in a style 3 for a while before purchasing a Gibson Crowe ring to replace it.  I do not know what model Gibson this tone ring came out of as I bought used in Nashville.
