This is a very nice Gibson style replacement neck originally from First Quality Music in excellent condition. Inlay style is RB-250 and the heel is cut for a one piece flange. Very nice mahogany wood with ebony fingerboard and headstock overlay. Some wear on the first five or six frets but years of life left in them. No fingerboard gouges. The fingerboard width measures 1.25" at the nut and 1.94" at the heel and is flat and true. Truss rod works fine. I think this neck should mount right on newer and some older Gibson pots without modification, but no gaurantees. It was on an old Gibson RB-100 when I got it. In any case it wouldn't take a lot of effort to mount it on any one piece flange Gibson style pot. Spikes at the 7th and 9th frets for capoing. Ivoroid binding. The fifth string peg in the photos is included and it is a very high quality peg. No major dings, no finish issues, no repairs that I can tell. Just an overall very nice, high quality, professional grade neck. It is listed as used and has been used so I'm not gauranteeing anything. Please look at the photos and ask questions before bidding as the sale will be final, no returns. Paypal payment must be received within 5 days of auction ending. Shipping is $15.00 in the lower 48 states, actual charges to other destinations. Zero or negative feedback bidders should email before bidding. Overseas bidders should email for shipping quote before bidding. Thanks for looking. |
