"Gibsons mission in 1964 was to create a gibson model guitar that was affordable and embraced by guitar players who followed folk ,country and bluegrass music . This model was the gibson heritage .
It was introduced in 1965 ,the guitar was simple looking, it had square shoulders , spruce top ,brazilian rosewood body with tortoise binding ( back and top ) , tortoise pickguard , and came in natural finishes .
In 1968 gibson started making the same heritage guitars but with indian rosewood bodies and black pickguards .
During the 70s the heritage guitars had large block rectangular inlays , and large curly pointed bridges . Discontinued in 1982 ."
This one dates around 74-75 making it Indian rosewood as opposed to Brazilian for earlier models. There are some chips and scuffs. There is also a small hairline crack i the body around the soundhole/pickguard. The photos show all blemishes. It plays great and sounds amazing. It comes with its original case. | | Shipping We typically ship packages within 3 business days of payment clearing. We like to ship our domestic packages via UPS unless you specify otherwise, and include insurance on domestic shipments at NO COST TO YOU because we're cool like that. Dirt Cheep is cool. Anyway, international shipments are generally sent via USPS Global Priority, unless the item value exceeds USPS guidelines for insurability. In this case, we typically ship via FedEx for the best rates and safest travel
*All of our used merchandise has been well-tested and is guaranteed not DOA. We often test equipment several times before we ship it. Please read the terms of our item-specific return policy before bidding. All of our new merchandise is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If you have any questions regarding any item, please feel free to email us ebay@dirtcheepmusic.us
We reserve the right to cancel any bid that we feel has not been made in good faith, and we also reserve the right to relist items that are not paid for within 7 business days of the closed auction if no contact has been made by the Buyer. Because items are also for sale in our Atlanta store, we may end auctions early if an items sells to a local customer. Auction includes ONLY what is listed in the product description. If we have the manual for an item we are selling it WILL be stated in the auction, and will be provided to the winning bidder. Other items such as power cords, adapters, disks, and hardware are only included if described in the auction. We've received bad feedback unfairly for this, so one more time for clarity: if it's not listed in the auction don't expect to receive it. Easy? Yep.
