Gibson Long Shaft Volume & Tone Pots w/ Caps & Shielding Plate
Came out of new Gibson Les Paul Standards

This is a genuine Gibson shielding plate complete with 2 long shaft Gibson volume pots and 2 long shaft Gibson tone pots.  The volume and tone pots are connected with Gibson-issue .022uf caps.  All of these were removed from brand new '09 Gibson Les Paul Standard Fadeds, straight from the factory and unplayed, as part of a client's restoration project.  They will fit into any production Les Paul or similar. The assembly comes as pictured.

The volume pots are 300K linear taper, Gibson part number 44070034. The tone pots are 500K Audio tapers, Gibson part number 44071079 .  The whole assembly was pulled straight from the guitars as soon as they were delivered, none of them have any playing time on them.  All the pots have Gibson logos.

So here's what you can do:

• Got a guitar with hot/bright pickups in it, sounding kind of shrill? Wire this in, as-is. The 300K volume pots will tame the pickup nicely.
• Got a guitar with vintage output pickups in it? Remove the pots and reverse their position on the shield, using the 500K audio pots for the volume and the 300K linear pots for the tone. This is generally the preferred configuration. The original wiring was done by the boys in Nashville, so who knows what they were thinking at the time. 
  

The pots alone on these retail for almost $45.  You get the shielding plate as well, which is generally not available anywhere, along with the factory caps for a bunch less.

As electronics are not reusable, I can not accept returns on them.

International Buyers.  We've done LOTS of international shipments and made a lot of friends doing so. Everything we ship outside the US is both fully insured and has online tracking, period.

• Insurance and Services.  All shipments leaving the US must be insured for the sale amount regardless of the order size.
• We use USPS Priority Mail International for orders less than $50, and Express Mail International for orders $50 and above.
• We can not use USPS First Class International as it can not be insured.
• Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes.  Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.These charges are the buyer's responsibility.Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
• These charges are normally collected by the delivering shipping company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
• All orders must be declared for customs at the full order total as the declaration must equal the insured amount. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts".
• Payment Methods.  PayPal is the only accepted payment option for international orders.
• For multiple item or large orders our international service is THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS.You get your item quickly, and if anything goes wrong you get your money back, simple.

Domestic Shipping and Insurance.  We offer insurance on every item for actual cost. We require it on some items.

• If insurance is purchased we will assist you with any and all issues with the shipper should any occur.
• If insurance is not purchased, there is nothing we can do to assist you in any way with the shipper regarding delays, losses, damage, or any other issue.
• We are not responsible in any way for the performance of common carrier shippers, the buyer is on their own if they choose not to insure the shipment.
• Domestic orders larger than $250 will require a signature for delivery.

Payment is due within 3 days of purchase.

• If using PayPal please have your account set up prior to making a purchase.
• Buyers with unpaid orders will receive a payment reminder after 3 days.
• We will file an Unpaid Item Dispute with eBay for unpaid orders older than 7 days and will block the buyer from future transactions at that time.
