Gibson SG Standard - Natural Burst 2008, Very Clean

Here is a real nice Gibson SG Standard in Natural Burst finish.  It is a 2008 model.  Everything is pretty much clean on it.  Just some minor play scratches on the pick guard, a few light surface scratches on the back and sides that wouldn't photograph.  Pretty much just normal stuff, no dents, dings or missing parts.  About as near mint as possible, in a fantastic discontinued finish.  Plays great with good action, straight neck, and great fret life.  The stock 490/498 pickups were swapped for a set of Manlius Hot Rod 59 pickups.  These give classic PAF tones with a touch more strength for some real good rock and roll tones while not sacrificing the articulation and versatility of classic PAF's.  You can check them out at www.manliusguitar.com for more info on the pups.  I found the stock pickups to be a bit flat and too modern.  They are not included with the auction, unfortunately.  Comes with a nice original Gibson hardshell case in good shape, maybe some slight scuffs on the case, but I haven't really checked.  Guitar weighs just 6 lbs 15 oz, so it isn't a heavy burden for long nights!  Please ask any and all questions you may have.  Shipping is $33.50 via UPS ground insured for the full amount.  Shipping is the the lower 48 USA only.  Payment is requested within 3 days of auction end, and low feedback bidders please contact me before bidding.  Thanks!

Please note a correction to the listing.  This is actually a late 2007 model, my reading of serial numbers is not so hot!  It was made on the 347 day of 2007, so it makes it December 2007, not 2008.  The pots are marked as 12-18-2007 as well.  Please take this into consideration, as it is not a 2008!  If you would like a picture of the serial number, please ask.  Thanks
