According to my husband, the chemist, this is a series of procedures for making organic compounds.

These reference books (I am listing 4 more of this series) are from his personal collection. He purchased the book in 1973 soon after the series came out and has been in his library ever since.

The book is in near-mint condition, just dusty around the edges from sitting on the shelf. His name, 'R. Smith' is printed on the top of all the volumes.
