Glam French Gilt Louis XV Sofa Settee Canape~

Display here is a gorgeous Gilded Louis XV Settee Sofa, dated: early 20^th Century. Gorgeous scroll cartouche crest continuing with decorative curve scallop motif on the shoulders and reed-n-tie molding surrounding the frame. Low back rest merging with sloping ram’s horns scroll arms, held by cabriole legs and terminating with scroll leaf feet, very unique and a “rare find”. Original gilding with a patina that is so desired, upholstered in heavy duty cotton in  antique light beige color fabric with subtle print and comes with a comfortable plump loose cushion.
