Presented is a stunning original brand NEW signed paperweight by Canadian artist Robert Held, circa early to mid 1990s. This piece has never been used, or displayed. It has been stored and has no scratches, scuffing or flaws to disclose.

This piece is very unique - only one like it I've seen on line. It looks like a piece of gold foil under the glass but the glass is so clear and transparent, it always looks like you could pick it up. Hard to explain, but visually very different!

The piece presented was created almost two decades ago and is no longer available in stores or on line. Despite the economy, art glass continues to be a great investment and a much appreciated gift.

Robert Held’s art glass collections range from classic to contemporary. From vases to bowls to hearts to paperweights, his designs are inspired by the work of famous artists such as Monet, Klimt and Tiffany. Robert’s glasswork has also been chosen for many prestigious awards and collections. His goblets were selected to grace the table of the Governor General and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s collection now houses Robert’s commissioned piece “The Northern Lights” – a stunning glass bowl created with gold & dichroic glass.

If you would like your item gift wrapped, simply send us an email or include a note with your payment. We'll do our best to dress your package for the occasion.

As per the new eBay policy, all items are shipped with insurance. The cost for insurance is included in the shipping charged.

Everything we use to wrap and pack is brand new, clean and fresh, with the exception of bubble and boxes which we try and recycle. We do so to help a planet that is suffering and hope you will do the same.

Please understand we do not set the postal rates nor do we charge a packaging or handling fee. eBay and Pay Pal require that most items be shipped with tracking and signature. Because of this we cannot and will not, ship to PO or APO Boxes.

Keep in mind when selecting shipping options that only business days are counted, not holidays, weekends, or the first day processing your order. There is no shipping service in Canada on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays. If delivery is required by a specific date, consider upgrading to FEDEX or UPS courier.
