This glistening Intecci Murano glass bud vase incorporates golden, clear, and green Venetian Murano glass. The body of the vase  is clear Murano glass that is imbedded with a delicate 24K gold dust. The body of the vase is covered (imprinted) with diamond shapes of various sizes creating a glistening textured surface. The imbedded gold dust increases in intensity as the light strikes it and - at times - seems to create a golden coating over the clear glass.  The lip of the vase was cut in three places and folded back during the glassmaking process to create an oval shaped opening that is approximately .90 inches in diameter. A rich green edge of Murano glass highlights the lip of the vase.  The vase sits straight up and down or slants slightly to one side depending on which section of the vase is turned to the front. The vase is an elongated drop shape that measures approximately 5.50 inches tall at its tallest point and 2.25 inches in diameter. It narrows near the top of the vase.   This bud vase is a one of a kind, handmade vase created by master Murano glassblowers at the furnaces of La Murrina in Murano Italy. This is a signed piece. The La Murrina signature is etched into the Murano glass. La Murrina represents two thousand years of art and tradition. The vase is shipped boxed with a La Murrina certificate of authenticity.
