Here for sale is the Godin Freeway 5 Active Bass. This is a great bass
that plays very well and sounds great. The active electronics give tons
of control over the tone and the output is very hot with a very strong
low end and punchy mids. The mahogany body yields a very warm tone as
well. The neck is really comfortable with a medium oval shape and satin
finish. This is a brand new "B-Stock" guitar (Please read below about B
Stock) and comes with the deluxe Godin gigbag and full factory
warranty. Godin B-Stock factory blem instruments are a great way to get
a top quality guitar at a great discount! If you have any questions at
all please feel free to call! About B Stock: This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see from Godin are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or very small drip in the finish near the output jack plate. These blemishes are always very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! About the Freeway 5 Active: Comfort, balance and classic bass sounds are what the Freeway basses are all about. Each rock maple neck is hand-finished and shaped with the Godin Ergocut technique. The convertible bridge provides the option of stringing through the body-adds snap to the sound or through the back of the bridge”for a mellower tone. Two Godin single coil pickups are screwed right into the body amplifying the natural resonance of the bass producing smooth and dynamic tones. The active version of the Freeway basses replaces the maple/poplar body in the passive models with solid mahogany. Godin active electronics can handle everything from a mellow to a clear bright sound that will propel the Freeway through whatever sonic-soup gets in its way. About The Godin Gigbag: The Godin gigbag is very well padded and it's as much an attache case as is is a guitar gigbag. It's got several zip up pockets that serve different functions. The large accessory pouch in the front has separators for gear, books, markers & pens. The smaller pocket on the neck part of the gigbag is perfect for a few pedals and cables. On the back of the bag are two well padded backpack straps that tuck away when you don't need them and Godin has thoughtfully added removable reflector pieces for the eco-friendly musician who rides their bike home from a late night gig! The gigbag also has a luggage tag with clear window. The bag has extra handles and clips all over to make carrying the guitar in a crowded street or busy subway station a breeze. The greatest thing about this bag is the neck block cushion with a thick velcro strap that secures and protects the neck of the guitar when it's in transit.
