Here for sale is the Godin ACS Nylon SA Flame Maple. This is a limited edition guitar from godin and will only be made in 2009. It's absolutey gorgeous! The flame maple top is very nice indeed. The Godin ACS has quickly become the acoustic / electric guitar of choice for the discerning fingerstyle player and composer. It's similar to the famed Gibson SST but superior in many ways. It's lighter, plays better, sounds better, and has built in access to guitar synth devices. The sound of the ACS works well in many different music styles and the guitar plays extremely well. The top on an ACS is a bit thicker then its Multiac Nylon counterpart. This gives the ACS a much more fundamental tone without excessive overtones, resulting in a sound that's very clean and true with a great percussive nature. This is "B-Stock" instrument. The incredibly comfortable neck from the Multiac Nylon is used here with a Maple body to achieve our most affordable synth access guitar ever. Although the body is chambered, response from the maple top is more typical of a solid body design than that of a traditional acoustic guitar. This design results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even when the band gets loud. The engine in both the ACS-SA & ACS-SA Slim includes individual transducer saddles powered by a customized preamp system from the RMCTM Pickup Company. This system not only produces superb amplified sound, but also produces a hexaphonic output through a 13-pin connector enabling direct access to RolandTM GR-Series guitar synthesizers. The Godin gigbag is very well padded and it's as much an attache case as is is a guitar gigbag. It's got several zip up pockets that serve different functions. The large accessory pouch in the front has separators for gear, books, markers & pens. The smaller pocket on the neck part of the gigbag is perfect for a few pedals and cables. On the back of the bag are two well padded backpack straps that tuck away when you don't need them and Godin has thoughtfully added removable reflector pieces for the eco-friendly musician who rides their bike home from a late night gig! The gigbag also has a luggage tag with clear window. The bag has extra handles and clips all over to make carrying the guitar in a crowded street or busy subway station a breeze. The greatest thing about this bag is the neck block cushion with a thick velcro strap that secures and protects the neck of the guitar when it's in transit. The Godin logo is embroidered on the front of the bag to let everyone know that you are a guitar player who does things a little differently!
