This Groover is made from Genuine A-2 Tool steel the hardest Tool steel available, it measures 63 Rockwell.

Tool steel can be identified by its very high polished appearance, it is many times harder and more durable than case hardening,
this can be done in a forge, but only the surface will will get harder, but still not as hard or durable as A-2 Tool steel.
