This chair has about one of the very best original painted surfaces to be found. Great patina in a varying tone on tone of shabby antique white with yellow peeking thru resides on the fabulous carved frame, a bit earthy and crusty! A lovely crest takes your attention at the top center in the shape of a scalloped shell! Exaggerated cabriole legs and a very wide and deep seat, the chair has recently been upholstered in a very heavy, antique satin in a tone of new pink or should we say "shell pink". A wonderful, eye catcher to grace your decor, very Paris Salon!
