Item description : This is a Wajima-nuri tea caddy with gorgeous Makie design of the ocean waves called Namiguruma made by a famous Makie-craftman in Wajima, Mr Akira Kakinoki. Please look at his prominent Makie technique and high quality of paintings. The inside of the tea caddy is provided with the fantastic gold leaf. His name is carved in the bottom and signed on the cloth and the store box. Please add this valuable piece to your collection.

Age : 1980's

Condition : Perfect in mint. There are small stains seen on the white cloth and the store box due to age.
