Here we have a gorgeous piece of vintage fabric that hails from the "Barkcloth Era". Although technically not barkcloth it has all of the same virtues, like intensity of color, fabulous drape, and nice weighty textured fabric, (with a diagonal weave). Another great thing about this piece is that it's never been washed and looks like someone started to make a curtain out of it but never finished.....(there are 1" hems along both sides but the top and bottom are both raw edges). It measures 46" x 85" so there is a substantial amount of decorating possibilities here. (I bought this piece and decided that it wasn't large enough for the project that I had in mind.......my loss is your gain with this one)! The only issues are several small medium-light (storage?) stains, one of which I've shown in photo#5. If the winning bidder so chooses, I will be happy to clean it for you, otherwise it will arrive to you in it's original condition which is the way I purchased it. As the photos show, it's truly beautiful!
