* Despite
the listing, this dress does still needs its
eyelet closures on the back, as well as a fastener on the skirt. The
bows and lace sash were with this, but they are not attached to the
bodice, also, we do not see a privacy panel on the bodice. The
skirt, however, is already hemmed and trimmed. I
assume these were not done already, in order to be fitted to whoever bought
it. I would think it would be an easy finishing job for someone even
with basic sewing skills... I have done eyelets myself, in the past, on
some drapes, and all I needed was a knife and a hammer. With the
auction, I also got an entire case of gowns and garments that where cut
out, but not put together... beautiful fabrics... my wife is trying to
find a seamstress to work on these, and put them together, but we have not
found one yet, or at least not one that can do it at a reasonable price.
In any case, because of this I think it is safe to say that
this gown is new, or at
least never worn. The images also show a pearl necklace... this was
not with the gown when we acquired it, so it is not included with this
listing.
The gowns we will be
shipping USPS Priority. Because of their weight, it seems to work
out better, usually, to send it in one of the flat rate boxes. If you have any questions,
or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us. For more
information on us, shipping and other bits, please check out our
"about me" pages. When I got this lot, I did receive some
of the information and even a few pictures, but as far as the fabric
content, I am sorry I do not know what it is. |
