This is one of the most Beautiful Nightgowns or Lounge Outfits I've ever seen! Made by BARBIZON, it features stunning colors of Tangerine, Yellow, Pink & Rose in varying shades. There is also white, in the form of designs of large flowers...just stunning! The over-dress is gauzy and sheer, while the under-dress portion is lightweight and a shade of tangerine that blends everything together beautifully! Lovely "hemstitching" is done down both sides of the front, running from the sides of the deep, "V" plunge neckline, to the bottom of the piece. This same treatment was done along the sleeves. It is simply gorgeous! *SOME OF THE PHOTOS GIVE AN ODD LOOK TO THE FABRIC BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY ON THE GARMENT & IS ONLY DUE TO PHOTO DISTORTION. SORRY FOR THE PROBLEM.
This highly collectible garment is a SIZE MEDIUM and in EXCELLENT CONDITION, appearing to be New/Old stock. As for the age of the piece, I'm sorry to say, but I am a bit stumped. This could be newer than this catagory states, but as most of my "Barbizon" pieces have been from this era, I listed here. My apologies if I am incorrect. The Shell of the gown is 100% Polyester while the Lining is 100% Cotton. I have several other "BARBIZON" items to list and have one in my Ebay Store, so please take a peek!
