Gorham Sterling Silver Oval Platter Tray Dish 12" 1930s.  Measures 12" x 6 1/2" by 1"

This is a stunning sterling silver tray from the 1930s.  It has been well cared for and is without any major flaws.  A thorough inspection did not detect any dents or warping.  There are some superficial scuff marks which should polish out.  I have been unable to identify a name for this pattern, but the markings indicate the peice is from the 1930s.  The underside of the tray reads GORHAM STERLING, the lion, anchor, and G.  Pattern number reads 43304.  If you use a magnifying glass and look carefully, you see a very faint engraved set of numbers which look to me to be a combination.  Interesting, but probably insignificant.
