Gr Britain miniature medals 1849, 1897, and 1918 VF

Three 19mm zinc miniature medal reproductions.

Great Britain, "1849", rather crudely designed, with a rider on horseback pacing in front of an army while what looks more like Vikings than people from India seem to be offering placatory gifts.  Very Fine, with darkened wear across the body of the horse.  The legend reads TO THE ARMY OF THE PUNJAB.  In exergue MDCCCXLIX.  The reverse is plain, and reads PUNJAB CAMPAIGN MEDAL 1848 - 1849.

Great Britain, 1897, a lion with a spear embedded in its shoulder runs toward an unseen enemy while two spears land in front of him.  The legend reads MASHONALAND 1897.  In exergue BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA COMPANY.  Very Fine, with wear on the highest part of the lion's mane.  The reverse is plain, and reads BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA COMPANY'S MEDAL 1890 - 1897. 

Great Britain, 1918, Great War medal.  A rider holding a sword is mounted on a horse.  The horse is trampling on a shield.  The sun is shining down on them.  Very Fine.  Crudely designed, with the man's right hand looking more like it's open on the rump of the horse rather than holding the sword, with is flatly engraved against the side of the horse.  The man has no facial features, and the horse's eye is just a crude slash.  There's a 1mm long V-shaped nick in the field beneath the horse, with a 3mm long light scratch crossing it.  1914 is along the rim in the left field and 1918 is along the rim in the right field.  The reverse is plain, and reads WAR MEDAL 1914 - 1918.  There are numerous scratches on the reverse.

Payment instructions:  You must have a United States PayPal account. 

- Payment must be received within 7 days of completion of auction.

- If your address shows Unconfirmed on the PayPal invoice, your package may be held an additional 10 business days for further verification of payment.

Shipping:  Shipping is within the United States only. 

- I do combine multiple wins over a 5 day period, starting with the first win, into a single shipment to save on the cost of postage.  Checkout does not correctly adjust the shipping charges – I will e-mail you an invoice that shows the adjusted shipping amount.  Ship charge is the same $ amount for one coin or a half dozen coins. 

- Items are shipped by Priority USPS or First Class USPS (please make sure that you select which one you want when you make your payment).  

- I ship using padded mailers, bubble wrap for extra protection, and package tracking.  Since I'm a small seller, not a business shipping large quantities, I don't get a break on my shipping supplies or costs.  What I charge is less than my actual total cost, and I never charge a handling fee.  If you feel that the ship charge is too expensive, then please don't bid.

A note about recent changes made to the 1 - 5 rating system:  eBay counts a 4 the same as a 3, and a 2 the same as a 1.  Giving a 2 or a 1 in any of the categories puts a small seller at risk of being blocked from doing any further selling on eBay. Please bear this in mind when posting feedback and ratings for any seller.  Big sellers have the quantity of sales to cancel the effect of one or two bad ratings - small sellers do not.

Invoicing: I post invoices each evening, following the close of all of the items I sold that day.  The only reason that I wouldn't send an invoice that evening is if I see that buyer has active bids on other items closing within the same week. 

Shipping:  I ship the next business day after receiving payment, unless the next day is a Saturday - in which case I may not be able to ship until Monday. 

Tracking:  After I've shipped, I e-mail the tracking information to the buyer that same evening.
