Gracie Tonner AE series Doll + MAGIC-10 Dress Pattern!!

BARGAINS FROM PRILLYCHARMIN Gracie Doll and our MAGIC-10 Sewing Pattern with dresses in TEN Sizes! (also includes panties & bonnets) Gracie is part of the Ann Estelle series by Robert Tonner and Madeline Engelbreit. This Gracie has her hair styled with curls for a special day. Gracie has brown eyes and black hair. She is 10 inches tall, all vinyl, strung jointed. She comes with panties, as shown, and our own MAGIC-10 Dress Pattern. Gracie comes with her hair curled up as shown in the top photo, for a fancy party. But you can restyle her hair if you wish! Right side photo: we combed out the curls for a super-curly, longer hairstyle. Or, you can relax the curls if you remove her wig and dip it in boiling water. The hair fiber is very good quality and we had to dip it several times to straighten the curls. (Don't dip the cap of the wig or it might shrink.) Use a kitchen utensil such as a salad prong to hold the wig and dip it in the water. I also used a metal comb to comb the hair straight, while it was hot and wet. Then when it was mostly straight, we ironed it with a steam iron because we wanted a very straight, asian hairstyle. First, wet a washcloth. Fold the washcloth with the wig inside, then press the steam iron down on the hair (but not the wig cap), and PULL the hair out from under the steam iron. Don't let the iron touch the hair directly: keep it inside the damp washcloth. Straightening the hair wasn't difficult, it just required a bit of persistence until it looked the way we wanted it to. Wigs are expensive so it's best to get some mileage out of the one she comes with, right? What you do with her wig is up to you (at your risk), but we thought you might appreciate these suggestions.   Back on topic... This particular Gracie has brown eyes, so she could be re-wigged with brown, red or blonde hair to make new nationalities. With her pretty slanted eyes, I think Gracie is also a good candidate for a fairy doll such as Tinkerbelle.
