This is half of a fleece from Ashley, a merino/Romney cross ewes.  This fleece is soft and is a multi-color gray.  The staple length of this fleece is 3-1/2"..  It weighs approximately 4 lb 1 oz.  I don't cover my sheep as they are grazing most of the year in irrigated pasture.  The fleece was heavily skirted and the small amount of vm in it will drop out when it is washed and carded, or combed.
