You are looking at a custom made left handed playing Gretsch Country Gentleman Guitar which was purchased brand new on August 18, 1964 for $650 AT THAT TIME. Serial number 26416. Comes with it's original case in good condition. Inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl and ivory on the neck and body. Components are 24 carat gold plated. Comes with strap, Bigsby stationary Chet Atkins bar. Has original swing bar on the Bigsby now. Since 2002 3 experts have offered $22,000-$29,000 for this piece. My Uncle, a lifetime professional entertainer, owned this and recently passed away. I am selling it now because I am sure that someone else will enjoy the vintage intrinsic value and music that comes from this instrument. Truly a collectable guitar in great condition.
