Gretsch 51/2 x 14 vintage chrome over brass 70's drum. I've had this snare for 18 years and it is one versatile drum. It is in good condition except the throw off is striped on one side, it has been this way since I've owned it and I've just used a heavy duty rubber band on the throw off handle and I anchor the rubber band on one of the lugs. This has worked for me. Although one could purchase a new throw and this would be a wonderful drum. That said who ever receives this snare will be very happy with this great vintage Gretsch sound.
