GENERAL RULE OF THUMB:The 13 or 20 Blade Dog Grooming Tool is for prep work and thinning out undercoat. The 26 Blade Dog Grooming Tool is for grooming heavy coats. 32 Blade is for finishing work. Use the coarse styles to comb out mats, tangles and the undercoat. Use the fine styles for finishing.
