These are a set of ten (10) 12" chargers,(dinner plates). They are silver over copper art plates.They were made by Martha Greenwell,noted Hawaiian artist and author, in the 1930's,while she was working for Grossman-Moody. Grossman - Moody was considered the Tiffany's of Honolulu.They were made for and sold to,Rose Davis,the wife of the great musician Charlie Davis.Each plate has a different Hawaiian floral motive etched into it.Rare indeed to see one for sale,much less a service for ten.
