Movie description
Based on a manga and videogame, the action-packed anime series GUNGRAVE blends the science-fiction and organized crime genres into a supernatural tale of friendship, betrayal, and vengeance. Brandon Heat and Harry McDowell were best friends and partners in crime until Harry betrayed and killed Brandon in his quest to become leader of the crime syndicate Milleneon. When a doctor finds a way to bring the murdered youth back to life, Brandon--now known as Beyond the Grave--returns from the dead to pursue the destruction of Milleneon and bring vengeance against the man who betrayed him. This second volume of episodes continues Harry's continuing thirst for power is magnified upon the arrival of Bob and Lee, the two newest members of Millennion. Brandon continues on as a sweeper for the organization until the mystery of Maria's whereabouts soon lead him to Big Daddy's villa. 5 years have passed, and Millennion is stronger than ever. Harry's motives are still in play while Brandon continues on as a loyal confidant. A grand garden party reveals conspiracies among Millennion's members The betrayal is coming, inevitably. Before events rise to a climax, Brandon and Harry establish a stronger relationship together through their involvement with Brad Wong and Cannon Balkan, who plan to bring down Millenion through the use of lab-synthesized monsters.
