You are bidding on an extremely rare H.G. Co. PETTICOAT Insulator (style CD-162) in the scarce OXBLOOD color variation with pointed drip points. Embossed lettering on the skirt reads "H.G. CO." and "PATENT MAY 2 1893" on one side and "PETTICOAT" on the other side. One of the only glass insulators that has red tones in the glass. The origin of this very special signal is the Pacific Northwest region, most likely from the area around the city of Spokane, Washington or nearby Idaho. This is a very rare find for any collector.
