A fantastic early Divided Back Era (circa 1907-1915), embossed, original vintage postcard, which, although unsigned, is most certainly the great artwork of notable artist Samuel L. Schmucker! Featuring a witch wearing red (perhaps she's a devil-witch!), holding her wand over a JOL, as green goblin-elves come out of it! Notice the fire coming out of the hole with the elves! OUTSTANDING! The caption reads, 'The Halloween Witches Wand. One touch of the wand and elves appear On Halloween, but have no fear. They only come for mischief and fun, This night is their's till the rising sun.'. Copyright 1912 by John Winsch. Printed in Germany! Measures approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches. An excellent vintage postcard with outstanding graphics!

The condition is good. Light soil, edge and corner wear with a faint upper-right corner-tip bend, and the backside has some surface paper loss, probably from being taken out of an album. Otherwise GREAT! No writing, no postmark, no pinholes, no rips, no tears and no creases! A VERY RARE and HARD TO FIND CARD! Note that "eBay ID PostcardPalace" is on the scanned images only, not the postcard. This has been stored in a rigid sleeve. It will be shipped within this rigid sleeve and within a rigid envelope or box, for maximum protection during shipping, to insure your postcard arrives exactly as it is described in this listing.
