~ABRASH-DYED PRIMITIVE COLOR BUNDLES ~ “DEADLY NIGHTSHADE” ( Dark, Blue-Purples ) Just a "pinch" of DEADLY NIGHTSHADE... will make your toes curl and your eyeballs roll! *This bundle has very RICH, DARK medium to dark Blue-Purples and subtle Violet undertones!* to make a more eerie scene! Purple is the complement to Yellow & Blue is the complement to Orange…this bundle is a great blend of both colors perfect to use in any Fall project as a backdrop for pumpkins or to add a “spark” in a fall leaf. This would also be a great mix for dark Purple grapes!
*NOTE: This is flying out of my Store...just listed it on Tuesday... and I'm down to the LAST 2 BUNDLES already!*
You are bidding on 100% hand-dyed wool that I have over-dyed using the same color family over 4 different pieces of wool in each bundle. You will have 1 over-dyed solid which is nicely mottled and 3 complementary over-dyed textures in each Prim Color Bundle. There are only 4 - 8 total bundles from each dye bath at a time. If you think you will need more of the same shade of wool, contact me about availability of back stock that may not be listed yet.
The Abrashed-Dye process is done in two stages using ONE single dye formula which creates soft undulations in the "light & dark" variations of the dye shade used. The mottled wool has subtle imperfections that give color depth to your hooked or wool appliqué projects. Some of my Abrashed wools are dyed over different, solid base colors other than just natural or white and some are dyed over various textured base wools. Use either side of the wool to get a full range of textural & color choices! The wool is measured PRIOR to washing, giving you a full fat quarter yard to work with. The wool is felted and ready for you to use. Each piece measures approximately 6” to 7" wide x 16” to 18" long and there are 4 pieces in each bundle totaling one fat quarter yard. I only use new, 100% wool from the finest suppliers such as Dorr Mills, The Wool Studio, Flanagan Woolens, etc. These wools are suitable for primitive rug hooking and wool appliqué work. It is most often recommended that you use a “wider cut” with a texture as many (not all) can have a looser weave and may be a little more challenging to work with. Although I offer a free cutting service to you, I would appreciate if you would seek out your local resources for cutting (i.e. ~ friend, neighbor, guild or shop) and use me as your last resort so I may have more time to dye more wonderful shades of wool for your future projects! If you are new to hooking and have no resources available, I’d be happy to cut your wool into strips: #6, #8, or #9 cut, I primarily use my Townsend Cutter. Notify me at the time of payment if you’ll need your wool cut & which size you would like. Please allow an additional day or two for my extra work. Also note: once your wool has been pre-cut into wool strips & shipped to you, it is no longer eligible for exchange or refund! I do my best to post photographs that realistically represent the colors in my hand-dyed wools. Please understand that computer monitors vary and the color representation you see may differ slightly from the original. In most cases, the colors in your wool will be much more pleasing in person than what you see in the photo. I guarantee 100% satisfaction. My wool comes from a smoke free home! I do offer combined shipping discounts on multiple purchases paid with ONE payment. If you are bidding on more than one auction that ends at a different time or day, PLEASE EMAIL ME so I can send you a SINGLE INVOICE with your total including “multiple-purchase discounted” shipping. This way you will SAVE on the shipping with ONE payment, otherwise you may incur the regular shipping rate for each additional purchase that is made separately! Please let me know if you have any questions. Note: I ship twice a week as soon after an auction ends as possible. Be sure to check out my eBay STORE to see what else I have in stock! I will be adding more store inventory in the weeks to come. If you’d like to sign up on my eBay Mailing List to be informed when I’ll be listing my latest round of NEW COLORS, just send me an email @ woole1@hotmail.com and I’ll take care of it! Thanks for your interest in my hand-dyed wool & your valued business! |
