Hand made IKAT (Silk) fabrics are one of the most interesting part of Uzbek Applied Arts. Today Ikats have become very popular all over the world. Uzbek Ikats differ in variety of patterns. In their ornament geometrical, floral and household objects were combined: ovals, shrubs, trees, Jeweller ornaments,etc. Ikats serve as the proof of unsurpassed skill of Uzbek people and reflect Uzbek traditions and culture.
