QUACK, QUACK, AND QUACK AGAIN is what this adorable little ducky is saying. That translates to Please invite me to come and live with you. Baby safe he is. He is hand knit of synthetic yarns with yarn embroidered eyes. His tie is ribbon. He is about nine inches tall but his feet do hang down. His wings are of contrasting yarns but he is a love and a toy that could soon become babies favorite. He is polyester stuffed and is made of all new materials. He has a rather large beak but he does not bite. As with all things that I or others make, I do not recomend machine washing but if you must please make sure you use cold water on the gentlest cycle and NEVER put them in the dryer. They can line dry or just sit around until they are dry. When I do any of mine I do them by hand and dry them in my shower. I have been know to forget to take him out when I take a shower and then it really takes a long time for them to dry. I have a big basket of left over yarns which I use for many projects and I cannot be sure that the yarns are acrylics or what as it can be hard to tell by fell when yarn is blended. If the yarn I use for the eyes is wool can be damaged. I know what the duck is knitted of as I do his feet and beak but his eyes could be wool. I do have several of these made but this is the only one with a tie but I could put one on if you wanted. I will also mention that these make great toys but are also wonderful editions to your bear collection. |
