UP FOR AUCTION IS A HAND MADE NATURAL WOOD CANE / WALKING STICK PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE SALE OF A PERSON WHO HAND MADE AND COLLECTED WOODEN CANES AND WALKING OR HIKING STICKS. THE CANE IN THIS AUCTION IS 39 INCHES IN LENGTH. IT HAS A DARK BROWN BARK AND A NATURAL AND GRACEFULLY TURNED HANDLE AND A RUBBER TIP AT THE BOTTOM. THESE CANES ARE MADE OF ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF WOOD RESULTING IN EACH ONE HAVING A DIFFERENT STYLE AND APPEARANCE. IN ADDITION, THEY ALSO HAVE ALL THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL NATURAL BENDS, HOOKS, CROOKS AND MARKINGS THAT MAKE THEM ESPECIALLY UNIQUE AND EYE CATCHING. FINALLY, WHERE APPROPRIATE, SOME ARE DEBARKED AND MOST ARE MARINE VARNISHED. The cane in this auction is a light weight wood and is very strong for size and weight, with hooked handle for easy grasp. Coloring is light brown, marine varnished for a beautiful finish. Handle has clear polished look. Dotted throughout with small white circular spots flush with surface, from stems, twigs, or thorns that were removed. THE WINNING BIDDER WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM.
