Captain Jim Marsden (KANE RICHMOND) is wrongly accused of murder. He sails to the dreaded HAUNTED HARBOR in search of a man named Carter (ROY BARCROFT) who isthe true killer now using the name Kane.  En route Jim saves beautiful Patricia Harding (KAY ALDRIDGE) whose ship-wrecked boat is destroyed by a rock slide. Jim and Patricia team up and together with the Captain’s crewmen Yank (CLANCY COOPER and Tommy (MARSHALL REED) combat pirates, killers and even a sea serpent in Marsden’s quest to clear his name. There are plenty of thrills and action in this 15 episode cliffhanger from Republic Pictures. This DVD contains the re-released version entitled PIRATES’ HARBOR.

Serial fans will love the cast. Kane Richmond was SPY SMASHER and Kay Aldridge was Nyoka in PERILS OF NYOKA, two of the best cliffhanger serials ever made. Top Republic Pictures villain Roy Barcroft is on hand as well.
