THIS IS A LOVELY 1905 AMERICAN HAND-PAINTED PLATE ON A HAVILAND, FRANCE PORCELIAN BLACK, MARKED IN GREEN ON THE BACK. THE PAINTING IS VERY NICELY EXECUTED, WITH TWO WATER BIRDS IN FLIGHT OVER A MARSH. THE PLATE IS SCALLOPED AND HAS AN EMBOSSED BEADING AROUND THE EDGE. IT IS ARTIST SIGNED, H. FOSTER '05.
