The "Pua aloalo" (Hibiscus) is Hawaii's state flower and one of the most beautiful flowers that adorns the Hawaiian landscape. Generally, Hibiscus lasts only several hours when fresh in highly humid places. Now you can have this flower stay fresh and lovely forever! The hair accessories I offer are designed by local artisans who are familiar with the ancient and time honored Hawaiian tradition of accessorizing with flowers. Wear this behind your ear -- right ear for single ladies and left ear for married women.

This tutu (a "tutu" is a Hawaiian grandparent) clip is made up of 3 large Hibiscus. It is the larger hair clip, measuring approximately 6" x 5". Smaller ones are available through my Store. Each flower is two toned in pale pink and dusty pink.

These poly silk flowers are durable, colorfast and crushable. By crushable, I mean the hair clip will be mailed via First Class Mail in a padded envelope (to keep the shipping cost down) and when you receive it, it may be quite flat. Simply play around with the petals and the flowers will fluff up or spring back in shape! If you are worried that the flower will arrive too crushed or if you prefer to have the hair clip shipped in a Priority Mail box, please select "Priority Mail" when sending payment at Checkout. It will cost $2.50 to ship in a padded mailer via First Class Mail OR $5.25 in a small box via Priority Mail.
