Choose from 30 boxers including like Roy Jones Jr., George Foreman, Michael Grant, Sugar Ray Robinson, Hector "Macho" Camacho, Jake LaMotta, Marvin Hagler, Rocky Marciano, David Tua, Floyd Patterson, Larry Holmes, Fernando Vargas, Mia St. John, and Bridgett Riley. All of these boxers are available in the Quick Bout, Tournament, and Exhibition modes. For some extra challenge, create a new boxer and take on the Career mode, where you'll have to hire trainers and cut-men as you fight your way through the local ranks to a pay-per-view title shot. Commentary from Jim Lampley, Larry Merchant, and Harold Lederman will make you think you are watching a match on television. HBO BOXING lets pugilists compete without getting a black eye.
