A. Check the shipping cost!
Chances are you'll actually be paying MORE for
shipping than the cable. Some Sellers make the
auction price very cheap then make their profit
by charging over inflated shipping & handling
fees on domestic shipments that should be
relatively inexpensive.

I have an expensive Home Theatre set-up,
shouldn't I spend $100's on Brand Name HDMI
Cables like Monster, Belkin Pure AV or
Audioquest ?
A. No, not with HDMI. This is an
all Digital technology. The information is
delivered down the cable in "bits" i.e. Zero's
and one's. With digital, it's EXACTLY the same
information whether you're using a $15 Cable or
a $150 Cable ! (Note: with older Analogue cables
such as Component the fancier cables do help
more).

OK, so based on the above, I don't need a fancy
Monster cable, but is construction quality
important ?
A. Yes, you still want the cable to
be durable. Make sure it's at least between
24-30AWG (American Wire
Guage standard). And ensure it has Gold
Plated connectors to avoid any corrosion and
possible degradation to signal.

Why is HDMI better than the Analogue Component
cable I've been using for years ?
A. If you have an HDMI connection
on any of your equipment, it's definitely the
superior choice. HDMI transfers uncompressed
