2001 Comic Con He-Man Statue Un-Numbered Sample!
This auction is for a Mattel Sample San Diego Comic Con He-Man Statue. This is the statue that introduced fans to the new Four Horsemen / Mattel He-Man & The Masters of the Universe line.
It even has Mattel’s “PP Sample For CPI Review” sticker on it. It was used by Mattel to approve the entire shipment of statues that were to be sold at SDCC. It appears to be identical to the numbered statues.
The statue is amazing! Made of hard resin, it stands 15" tall. The statue comes in 6 pieces: a base, legs, upper body, Power Sword, axe, and shield.
This statue was limited to 500 pieces and quickly sold out at SDCC.
All pictures of the assembled statue are for reference only! They are from another statue that I had opened in the past. The pictures of the box are of the actual one you will receive. There is a dent on 1 corner and some damage on the sides. None of the damage has affected the syrofoam packaging or the statue itself. The statue is in perfect condition. The box has been opened and the statue looked at but it doesn’t even appear to have been fully taken out of the Styrofoam. No paperwork is included.
