The rug was woven approximately 20 years ago in Hamadan in the village of Viss in western Iran. This rug represents over a year of weaving time. This rug is an excellent example of its type. The intricately woven design is Geometric Floral Herati Design. Hamadan Rugs are becoming increasingly difficult to find and acquire.

The colours of this rug are stunning and jewel like. The rug is in excellent condition for its age. The weave is particularly strong and the rug weighs approximately 25kg.
