Details

Place your bids on this autographed menu from Jack Dempsey's International Restaurant signed by heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey (1895-1983). Born William Harrison Dempsey, Jack Dempsey held the World Heavyweight title from 1919 to 1926. Jack was also heavily involved in the war effort for both World Wars as a morale officer, trainer, and even soldier. Even after retirement, Dempsey continued to participate in exhibition bouts all over the country.

  • Dedication measures 3 1/2" x 1 1/2"
  • Dempsey's signature, signed in blue ink, measures 3 1/8" x 1 1/4"
  • Menu, when closed, measures 9 1/2" x 14 1/4." Its two inside and back pages cover the restaurant's menu and cocktail offerings
  • The signature is in very fine, legible condition
  • The menu is also in very fine condition. It displays a vertical crease down the middle and a horizontal crease, neither of which are severe. There are also a few small, light areas of discoloration.
