Hello there and thank you for stopping into our first Tax services auction :)  As eBay sellers ourselves, who have sold thousands of items we realize a lot of people are wondering "what the heck am I going to do at a tax time" and "how do I keep track of things for my accountant". Even for myself a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and my wife (A certified Bookkeeper) this stuff is not so easy!

This service is for a 1/2 hour phone consultation to speak with a CPA about your eBay business.  I will make a long list of things we might be able to help you with below, and of course you can ask whatever questions you might like to ask. There is still time to get organized for tax time, and if you have put this off, then you can start getting caught up almost immediately! The other good news is since we have a free internet phone through our cable company, we can call you for your time and you will not have a phone bill at all!

• What do I need to give my accountant or what do I need to keep track of for my taxes  this year.

• What type of expenses should I be looking for? keeping track of?

For new sellers or those considering an eBay business

We can also aid you in almost any aspect of eBay business as we are Powersellers, Trading assistants, educational specialists (my wife) and both accountants, we pretty much know all of what eBay had to offer.

How a consultation could be valuable?

Well first of all , you should have an accountant relationship already. You will need to be very organized to keep your fees down. I can help you do that. Also, you will want to have all the info he /she will need. And you will need to know what to keep track of.

For those doing their taxes themselves with some questions this service is also ideal. You can learn what you need to do to file your taxes correctly, have things pointed out to you that you might have overlooked. Get advice from a CPA that understands the ins and outs of eBay (many dont!)

So why am I offering this service?

Well many years ago when the internet was young, there was a thing (and still is a thing) called newsgroups. They were the discussion boards of the internet. I use to check out some tax boards and help with some questions. The service became so popular that I began charging for it, as many people were on the run, some didnt have time to meet with an accountant but needed some advice and others just loved using the internet to get business advice when needed. The service was a hit. It was completely on the honor basis. If they felt they liked the service, they mailed me a check for the fee. IF not , no check needed. I loved doing it, then running two business at the time , I didnt have much time because I typed slow. Now with the advent of free internet calling , this service can be taken to a new level with one on one conversation. AND in keeping with the tradition here, if you are not satisfied in any way about the service and our conversation, I will completely refund your money.

In the past people liked it so much , that even after I ended the service years ago I received emails from people who had started businesses with my help and they were looking for me.

We offer lots of advice on federal taxes, and point you in the direction of state tax information since we are in CT and all states are different.
